Despite your best efforts, you cannot shield your pet from every possible danger every time. Thus, a responsible pet owner should keep a pet first aid kit handy. Include bandages, non-adhesive absorbent dressings, surgical sticky tape, and a box of cotton wool in your dog first-aid kit.
